About this speaker
Dr. Patrick Neff is a lifelong gamer who has spent the last decade trying to make video games a part of his job. He has a master's degree in educational technology and a PhD in sport management from Texas A&M University. Currently, he spends his days as a sport management assistant professor at A&M, with research focused around scholastic esports and organizational legitimacy. In another life, he worked as a technology teacher in middle and high school, as well as coaching traditional sports and esports. Last but definitely not least, he is a co-founder and board member for the Texas Scholastic Esports Federation.
